Stacked Style’s sugared fruity floral by Linda Sivrican.
At a glance
Enchantress is a sweet fruity floral from Stacked Style, a small line of fragrances. Lime, orange, strawberry and apple open onto jasmine and violet, over a base of caramelized sugar and vanilla.
Both Fragrantica and Parfumo credit the Los Angeles perfumer Linda Sivrican. No release year has been published.
Creation and context
Stacked Style is a small fragrance brand: Parfumo knows nine of its fragrances, including Rococo Rouge, Baroque Bleu, Dolce Dew, Fiore Flirt and Empress Lily, and Fragrantica dates Rococo Rouge to 2006. Parfumo lists the release year of Enchantress as unknown.
Fragrantica and Parfumo both name Linda Sivrican as the perfumer, and Parfumo names her as the brand’s perfumer. She co-founded Capsule Parfumerie in Los Angeles with her husband, Mike Sivrican; the company and Scent Trunk both date its work to 2012, and Scent Trunk describes her as primarily self-taught.
When Fragrance Help first listed Enchantress, it was noted as hard to find and as a treat for anyone who loves to smell sweet.
The composition
Fragrantica and Parfumo publish the same pyramid.
Fragrantica’s description calls it “a magical sugared infusion of fruits and flowers.” Parfumo classifies it as powdery, gourmand and sweet.
Why it matters
Enchantress sits in the gourmand fruity-floral style, where caramel and vanilla sweeten a fresh fruit-and-flower accord, a sweetness that the History of Perfume traces to Angel. It is also a credit for Linda Sivrican, who now composes for Capsule Parfumerie in Los Angeles.
On this site it appears in the fragrance notes for Kelly Clarkson.
Reformulation and editions
No concentrations, flankers or reformulations have been documented. Parfumo’s entry, last updated in 2014, lists it as still in production, but Fragrance Help’s original listing already described it as hard to find.
Wearing it today
Enchantress is for people who like to smell openly sweet: fruit, caramel and vanilla rather than a restrained floral. Wear it lightly in warm weather and more freely in cool weather.
Because bottles are scarce, buy from a seller who can confirm the condition, and test a sample first if you can.
