Le Labo.
Every fragrance, verified.
Every Le Labo fragrance I can document, from the first lab in New York in 2006 to this season’s launches. For each one, you’ll see who created it, what’s inside and where you can still find it. The Classic Collection lives on lelabofragrances.com. Each City Exclusive is sold only in its own city, except every August and September when Le Labo shops and the website carry them all. When a scent leaves lelabofragrances.com, a Le Labo shop may still have a bottle or know where one is. I check every launch year and perfumer against two independent sources, and I link to lelabofragrances.com wherever the house still lists it. Tap Own, Want or Sampled to save any of them to your Scent Wardrobe.
Read more in the Library: Le Labo, Maurice Roucel and Alberto Morillas. For the materials and the wider story, see sandalwood, musk and the History of Perfume. Every description is my own. When only one source confirms a fact, I mark it “single source” and credit that source. When sources disagree, I show you both and you can decide. See something I should correct? Tell me.
